Rebecca Mader

Rebecca was born in Cambridge, England in 1979. Rebecca worked briefly as a model in New York, where she appeared in ads for L'Oreal, Colgate and Wella Hair.

In 2003 she had a recurring role in the soap opera All My Children. She also appeared on the soap operas One Life to Live and Guiding Light. She has also appeared in the TV shows Stella, Law and Order: Trial by Jury, Love Monkey and Private Practice.

In 2006 she starred in the short-lived Fox drama Justice. She has appeared in feature films such as Hitch and The Devil Wears Prada.

In 2008 Rebecca was cast as Charlotte Lewis in Lost, first appearing in Season 4 of the show.

Charlotte Lewis

Charlotte received her doctoral degree in cultural anthropology from Oxford. While in a dig in Tunisia, she learns that the wreckage of Oceanic Flight 815 has apparently been found at the bottom of the ocean. At an excavation site in the Sahara Desert, Charlotte finds the remains of a polar bear, which has collar with a DHARMA Initiative logo.

Charlotte is recruited along with Daniel Faraday, Miles Straume, and Frank Lapidus to travel to the island where Oceanic Flight 815 actually crashed. She is forced to jump from a helicopter onto the island when the chopper encounters a lightening storm.

After landing on the island, Charlotte encounters Locke and his people, who believe that the freighter crew are dangerous. Ben reveals that the freighter crew is there to kill him and Charlotte is taken back to Othertown, along with Locke and his crew. After arriving in Othertown, Charlotte is traded for Miles, another member of the traitor crew and is allowed to go to Jack's beach.

Charlotte travels with Faraday to the Tempest station to neutralize poisonous gas and prevent Ben from releasing it and killing everyone on the island. She also tells Sun that she knows about Faraday's crush on her.

When Miles returns to the beach he tells Charlotte he knows she was “born on the island” and that he knows her secrets, but they are not yet revealed. Charlotte is on the beach when the island is moved by Ben and disappears along with the others.
